If I Were a Rich Girl, I’d Buy This Part 1: Simone Rocha
Price: $820
Simone Rocha is a designer known for her girlish romanticism. Her runways are ripe with pearls and bows, which have become her trademark. These elements are essential in her pieces. From clothing to accessories, you can’t separate Rocha from these details, and this bag exemplifies that.
This bag measures a decent 11.41 inches in width. They say size doesn’t matter, but size is important when it comes to bags. I need to fit my tissues, cardholder, portal charger, Advil, and fifty loose receipts in my everyday bag.
While I don’t generally like polyester, I can forgive the fabric composition because it is a bag. Frequently, 100% polyester can be used to offer structure and stability to a design. It can also make the bag more resistant to rips and stains in some cases. I’m giving this bag a side-eye, but I’m opting to forgive its faults (that’s growth).
The pearls on the handle add a grand, feminine touch, yet I can’t help but wonder how they would feel against the palm of my hand. As someone who swears by the magic of crossbody bags, I can imagine myself getting irritated by the decoration on the handle. I can, however, still admire the bag from afar.
Creating the bows with this study, almost camping-approved material, strikes a balance between masculine and feminine. This utility style is both functional and cute. I can always appreciate a bag that can accompany me to the grocery store and hold my essentials at a party.
If you can’t resist this bag, you can find it on Farfetch in the colors stone pearl, black, and indigo pearl clear. Additionally, it can be found at Bergdorf Goodman in indigo pearl clear, which is my personal favorite. However, the best price I discovered was at Neiman Marcus for the stone pearl color. As of October 12th, they offer the bag with a $200 discount using the code NMCIRCLE and 3x InCircle points.
